The UK Parliament’s Treasury Committee, the influential body responsible for holding City leaders to account, wants to increase its oversight of financial regulators after Brexit, according to its chair.

Nicky Morgan told Financial News that she expects the committee to play a greater role in monitoring regulators when their powers to police the City expand after the UK leaves the European Union.
