UBS appoints hedge fund executive

UBS has appointed a deputy chief investment officer to help run its fund of hedge fund business, one of the world's largest, which manages $38bn (€28bn) of assets.

UBS Alternative Investment Solutions said it had appointed Rick Nardis to the role. The business is part of UBS Global Asset Management's Alternative and Quantitative Investments, which runs $53bn (€39bn) in hedge funds and funds of hedge funds.
