Top Deutsche banker joins UBS

UBS has hired Yassine Bouhara, one of Deutsche Bank's key investment bankers, as it reorganises senior management for the equities business

A top investment banker at Deutsche Bank in London has joined UBS as the new joint global head of equities, to be based in the US.

Yassine Bouhara will join the Swiss investment bank at the end of the summer, after serving out his gardening leave. Bouhara had been Deutsche's top equities banker before taking a new role as head of structuring in December 2008, as well as head of global markets for Europe.
