Matthew Grimes, a desk head and manager for UBS Wealth Management in London, has left and is understood to have been hired by Barclays Wealth.

Grimes worked with Philip Harris, the head of UBS' onshore business in the UK until last week when he announced his departure to join the Royal Bank of Canada.
