UBS has handed investment bank co-president Marco Valla the reins of its dealmaking unit as part of a broader shake-up of its senior ranks.
Valla will take over responsibility for UBS’s global banking business from its current head Javier Oficialdegui, who is stepping down from the role, according to a memo seen by Financial News.
