UBS, the Swiss financial services giant, is set to buy Fondvest, a Swiss mutual fund company.

UBS has bought Fondvest for an undisclosed sum in order to boost its sale of third-party funds. &quotWith this move UBS agreed to buy secured access to an independent service platform in the dynamic growth market of open fund distribution,&quot said the company in a statement.
