UK investors pull more than £300m from US equity funds amid Trump’s tariff turmoil

Calastone figures show outflows posted by North America funds in July were the first since October 2024

UK investors pulled £330m from US equity funds in July, as concerns continue to grow about the impact Donald Trump’s tariffs will have on North American companies.

Figures from Calastone — which tracks money entering and leaving funds via financial advisers, fund supermarkets and wealth managers — showed North American equity funds posted their first month of outflows since October 2024.
