Unigestion, the Swiss alternative assets specialist, is building up its presence in Europe with the hire of Michael Larsen, formerly a director at Citigroup Asset Management, to head its institutional sales and marketing team in Geneva.

Larsen spent 20 years at Citigroup, starting his career with Citibank in New York, and later working in London and Bahrain. In Switzerland he was responsible for Citigroup's institutional asset management sales activities in Europe, focusing on pension funds and other wealth management distribution channels.
