Three US law firms are handing out special bonuses to their lawyers to recognise their hard work during the pandemic.

Junior lawyers at one firm, Milbank, will get one-off payments of as much as $60,000, while top firms Davis Polk & Wardwell and Cooley have also told lawyers that they will receive an extra payment on top of their usual year-end bonuses.
