UK fund manager Neil Woodford has told investors he is “extremely sorry” about his decision to suspend trading in his near-£4bn flagship fund, following a wave of redemption requests.

In a video posted on social media site YouTube on June 4, the 59-year-old addressed investors to explain the move and offer guidance on when the fund might reopen.
