Russian investment bank VTB Capital has hired a former Goldman Sachs partner as head of global markets for Asia Pacific.

Dimitrios Kavvathas, who was most recently co-head of Asia Pacific, ex-Japan, securities distribution and Asia Pacific head of structuring at Goldman Sachs, will be based in Hong Kong, according to a statement from VTB Capital.
