WestAM, the German fund management company owned by the WestLB Group, has hired Ian Williams as head of UK new business development and client service, filling a position that has been vacant for just over a year.

Williams will be responsible for increasing the firm's presence and client base in the UK by developing new and existing relationships with clients and consultants. He will report directly to Luke Nunneley, WestAM's global chief executive.
