Jonathan Sorrell has a big task ahead of him as the new chief executive of UK-listed wealth manager Rathbones. 

The former Man Group president will succeed outgoing chief and Rathbones veteran Paul Stockton when the latter retires at the end of September after 16 years with the business and six years as its top boss.
