The race to become the next chair of the Financial Conduct Authority is on.

A job advert for the £170,000-a-year, two-to-three-days-a-week post went out last week. Applications close on 3 March for the chance to replace former Slaughter and May partner Charles Randell when he leaves the role later in the spring.
