Aberdeen attracts $1bn for Jersey-based tech funds

Aberdeen Asset Managers has attracted more than $1bn (€1.7bn) for two new technology funds launched this year, bringing the total mutual fund assets domiciled in Jersey to $53.2bn.

Demand for private equity and technology funds has fuelled the increase by more than 27% to $74.2bn in mutual fund assets serviced in Jersey in the 12 months to 30 June, according to Fitzrovia International, the fund research company, latest Jersey Fund Encyclopaedia.
