Aberdeen Murray Johnstone Private Equity (Amjpe), the private equity division of Aberdeen Asset Managers, has promoted Hugh Little to head the firm's investment operations in Scotland.

Jock Gardiner will take over Little's former role heading up Amjpe's Aberdeen office. Gardiner has worked for the firm for the past six years, first in corporate finance and then in private equity, based in Aberdeen.
