Aberdeen Standard Investments has named Abby Glennie as co-manager on two funds run by veteran investor Harry Nimmo, in the latest succession-planning move for one of the firm’s highest-profile managers.
Nimmo, who was head of Aberdeen Standard’s smaller companies team for almost three decades until February this year, when he stepped down to focus exclusively on running his funds, will stay on as co-manager of the funds for “the next couple of years”, according to Liz Airey, chair of the UK Smaller Companies Trust.
