The Association of British Insurers looks set to increase its aggressive stance on corporate governance with the appointment of Keith Jones as chairman of its influential investment committee.

Jones, a 28-year investment veteran, is chief executive of Morley Fund Management, the investment subsidiary of UK insurer Aviva, and one of the most active groups in corporate governance and socially responsible investment.
