ABN Amro Asset Management has hired its first global head of equity research with the appointment of Ella Brown, formerly head of European equity research at Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Brown will run ABN Amro's proprietary research team of 70 career analysts. She has been hired to step up the research effort and co-ordinate coverage more effectively.
