ABN Amro has expanded its asset securitisation business with the creation of two new units focusing on extracting more value from the bank's own porfolios.

The first unit is the internal and strategic transactions team, which will be run by Kornelis Lammerts. It will focus on using securitisation as a tool for managing the Dutch bank's balance sheet.
