ABN Amro has promoted Nigel Turner to co-head of corporate finance, as well as senior executive vice-president - the bank's most senior position below the management board.

Turner, a former senior partner and member of the Lazard's supervisory board until early last year, joined ABN Amro in June to head its UK-based corporate finance business. He will co-head the corporate finance business alongside Jan Willem Meeuwis, who was global head of corporate finance.
