ABN Amro expects London-based staff numbers in its wholesale clients division to increase this year, in spite of job losses caused by the restructuring of the bank.
Hugh Scott-Barrett, member of the managing board, told eFinancialNews.com on Thursday that there was likely to be a net increase in London this year as the bank continued to hire bankers and revenue producers. "The recruitment effort continues but at perhaps a less frenetic pace than last year," he said.
