ABN Amro poaches Nigel Turner

ABN Amro has poached Nigel Turner, a senior partner at Lazards, to become its chairman of UK investment banking.

Turner, who started at Lazards in 1985, is the most senior banker to leave the bank's London office since John Nelson joined Credit Suisse First Boston as European chairman in October 1998.
