ABN Amro has taken on two utilities analysts from Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Alistair Buchanan becomes European head of utilities research, the same position he occupied at DLJ. Before DLJ he worked at Salomon Smith Barney in New York for two years, where he was responsible for the US utilities research team.
