ABN Amro snares Merrill Lynch director

ABN Amro has hired 30 senior fixed income sales names in the past three months across its operations in Europe, Asia and the US.

The latest signing, as part of the bank's expansion of its distribution capability, is Chandra Narasimhaiah who joins as director of fixed income sales to global central banks. Narasimhaiah, who leaves Merrill after three years as a director of institutional sales, has previously worked for Kleinwort Benson, UBS and Nomura.
