ABN Amro Asset Management is looking to take legal action after two of its high-profile fund managers, Nigel Thomas and George Luckraft, dramatically left the firm late Wednesday afternoon.
Relations between the two managers and ABN Amro Asset Management had broken down and they quit with immediate effect. In a joint statement the pair said: "Since handing in our notice we have worked in the interest of our investors in the normal way. However, certain actions taken by ABN Amro have caused an irrevocable breakdown in our working relationship and have made our position untenable."
