Abrdn's head of investments has ruled out launching cryptocurrency products in future but has said the FTSE 100-listed asset manager will continue to experiment around tokenisation.
“Our goal is clearly not to launch cryptocurrency-type products, we are more interested in the technology,” René Buehlmann, chief executive of Abrdn’s investments business, told Financial News.
