Accenture builds utilities and energy M&A team

Accenture, the consultancy firm that was previously part of Arthur Andersen, has added to its utilities and energy mergers and acquisitions practice.

Paul Plummer will returning to advisory work when he joins the firm in a couple of weeks from the UK Office of the Rail Regulator (ORR) where he was chief economist and director of economics and finance. He previously worked Rothschild, where he advised on M&A deals in the utilities sector.
