Explaining her reasons for quitting the board of Euro Disney in early 2017, Valérie Bernis stated that she felt unable to protect the interests of minority shareholders.

For us and CIAM, the investment firm that we co-founded and run, it was a significant statement. For the previous 18 months, CIAM had been campaigning for Walt Disney to pay a fair price to delist Euro Disney, its European subsidiary responsible for Disneyland Paris.
