Advent International bags Moeller

Advent International, the private equity firm, has acquired Moeller, a German producer of electronic components with €1bn ($1.2bn) of turnover, in its second deal this week.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed but an equity analyst said the enterprise value of Moeller was probably in the region of €500 to €700m. Commerzbank led the banking consortium that provided debt for the acquisition. Commerzbank has a longstanding banking relationship with Moeller.
