Aegon Asset Management has announced the appointment of new managers to its UK Tactical and UK Equity Growth funds as part of its effort to streamline the firm's retail offering.

Alastair Duffy, who is already in charge of the Aegon European fund, will take over responsibility of the UK Tactical fund and Mark Peden, who is also head of retail equities and manager of the European Tactical fund, will run the UK Equity Growth fund as well.
