Aladdin passes 140 with latest hires

Aladdin Capital, the boutique investment bank and alternatives manager, has recruited a general counsel and global risk officer, pushing its headcount to more than 140 after hiring aggressively over the past year.

Sharad Samy, formerly partner at law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe (Europe), joins as general counsel and Thomas Donahue as global risk officer. The positions are new.
