Mid-market investment bank Alantra has taken on another dealmaker for its financial institutions group in Europe, continuing a hiring spree that has added 20 senior bankers this year.

Adrian Hobcroft is joining Alantra's FIG team in London, following on from a flurry of senior appointments over the past 12 months. A former Deutsche Bank dealmaker, he was latterly a partner at boutique advisory firm Ashcombe Advisers.
