Alastair Lennard, a leading light within Merrill Lynch Investment Managers' Select team, has quit.

Lennard has worked for MLIM, formerly Mercury Asset Management for several years. He was part of the Select team, which manages large institutional accounts, from the date of its creation in 1995.
