Algebris Investments has recently opened an office in Singapore and will move three partners there by mid-summer.

Founder Davide Serra said: "To attract and retain talent because of strategic location, quality of life, access to corporates, capital raising and better tax treatment, it's easier to be based in Asia than in London."
