Amadeus Capital Partners, a UK venture capital investor which specialises in early-stage technology businesses, has raised £235m (€404m) for its second fund, Amadeus II.

The fund was twice oversubscribed due to high investor demand. Key investors include Marconi, Reuters and Deutsche Telecom. Two big UK pension funds, Shell and NatWest, have also invested.
