Amadeus, the Madrid-based technology provider for the travel industry and global distribution system, is set to continue growing its presence in the US market, following the acquisition of Vacation.com, the US holiday-selling network last week. More acquisitions and partnerships are planned.
Choosing not to employ any investment bankers in an advisory capacity, Amadeus bought Vacation.com for $57.3m (󌍳.6m) in cash and warrants with the assumption of $27.7m of debt.
