Amadeus Capital Partners, the technology venture investor, has completed its first round of fundraising on a new corporate fund targeting seed-stage mobile businesses, one of the sectors most badly scarred by the technology meltdown.
The UK-based venture capitalist raised £3m (€4.9m) and is aiming to secure a further £7m from corporate investors, which it will match pound for pound in co-investment from its £235m Amadeus II fund. Amadeus' co-investment will take the total funds at Amadeus' disposal to £20m, with £6m available for investment now.
