Amena completes biggest Spanish loan deal of the year

Amena, the Spanish mobile phone operator owned by local holding company Auna, has signed the biggest syndicated loan in Spain so far this year, despite difficult market conditions.

Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank were joint bookrunners and lead managers on Amena's €2.4bn ($2.1bn) deal, together with SG, Banca Commerciale Italiana (BCI) and Santander Central Hispano (SCH).
