Amundi, Europe’s biggest listed fund manager, has lifted the hiring freeze it enacted six months ago in the wake of its €3.5bn acquisition of Pioneer Investments.

The company, which manages €1.4tn and employs 5,500 people, is due to complete its staff reorganisation by the end of the first half of this year, according to chief executive Yves Perrier.
