Amundi, the combined asset management unit of Crédit Agricole and Societe Generale, posted €480m in net profit in 2012, a 16.2% increase from the end of 2011, with the unit benefiting from high performance fees and a reduction in expenses. Amundi's revenue also rose slightly over the year, taking into account a €60m gain from the disposal of a stake in private equity firm Hamilton Lane. The fund manager reported revenue of €1.46bn at the end of the year.
