Virginie Maisonneuve’s years working in London may be behind her for now, but the well-travelled fund manager remains a respected figure in the Square Mile — and one whose views on the current debate around gender and diversity in financial services hold particular weight.

Best-known in the City for her decade running global equity strategies at fund manager Schroders, the 53-year old French-American has appeared several times on Financial News’ slists of the most influential women in European finance. In 2016 she chaired the CFA UK’s Women Network, which pushes companies to address problems such as unconscious bias in management teams and gender pay gaps.
