Don't fear the rate hike: It's the recovery, stupid

The US Federal Reserve on December 15 begins a two-day meeting that is expected to culminate in the first interest rate hike since June 2006 – the year before the Apple iPhone was launched by Steve Jobs.

The iPhone has since had a huge influence on how we interact with technology every day, just as central banks' decisions to keep rates at rock bottom has heavily influenced the way investors interact with markets on a daily basis.
