A former executive director at Goldman Sachs is to team up with a trio of ex-BTG Pactual portfolio managers on a new multi-strategy event-driven hedge fund.

Anavio Capital Partners, a limited liability partnership that was registered at Companies House in the UK last month but has yet to be formally launched, counts former BTG Pactual colleagues Daniel Horsley, Emiliano Leggieri and Michael Bancroft as partners, together with former Goldman Sachs banker Dario Sacchetti.
