The executive tasked with monitoring the behaviour of staff at Barclays' investment bank has stepped down, making him the fourth senior compliance officer to leave his post at the UK banking group in as many months.
Francois Jourdain relinquished his responsibilities as chief compliance officer for Barclays International in January, according to the UK's Financial Conduct Authority's register. A spokesman for Barclays said he remains with the bank, but a replacement for him in this role had not yet been named.
