Aon Consulting senior investment consultant Colin Taylor has quit to join Winterthur Life.

Taylor's departure is a serious blow to the UK-based actuarial consultancy, and comes hard on the heels of its loss of a prestige account to provide investment advice to the £1.3bn Shipbuilding Industry Pension Scheme. Stamford Associates has won the Shipbuilding account, although Aon will continue to advise it on actuarial work.
