A New York judge has named Swedish state pension fund AP7, along with five US public schemes, as lead plaintiffs in a US class action lawsuit against JP Morgan Chase over alleged losses caused by the bank’s chief investment office and so-called London Whale trader Bruno Iksil.
Ohio attorney general Mike DeWine last month revealed in a statement that he had filed a motion with the US District Court for the Southern District of New York for various Ohio state pension funds and other schemes to lead investors in a class action over the trading scandal, which led to losses at JP Morgan of at least $5.8bn.
