Apax Foundation makes first social investment

The charity set up by UK buyout firm Apax Partners has tapped into the growing trend of ethical investing, making its first social investment, in a development finance asset manager.

The Apax Foundation has taken a 20% stake in Finance in Motion, an asset manager with €800m ($1.1bn) of assets under management, for an undisclosed sum.
