Michael Risman, one of Apax Partners' 22 global equity partners and an IT sector specialist, has resigned. He is the second partner to leave since Apax closed its sixth buy-out fund with €4.3bn ($6.3bn) in July.

Apax confirmed the departure and said Risman may establish a new investment management organisation.
