Virgin Money’s former chief executive, Dame Jayne-Anne Gadhia, is returning to personal finance — this time offering an app to help consumers feeling the pinch in the current Covid-19 pandemic save money.

Snoop, the latest entrant to the market of money-saving apps, aims to connect to an individual’s bank accounts and generate bespoke savings tips. Gadhia hopes this will help ease some of the pressure that the coronavirus crisis has out on personal finances.
